AJU MORGAN ELUMELU FOUNDATION
The AJU Morgan Elumelu Foundation (AMEF) is a nonprofit and non-governmental organization dedicated to fostering sustainable development, social justice, and economic empowerment across Nigeria and Africa. With operational hubs in Nigeria and Atlanta, Georgia, and a global team of 21 experts, the Foundation unites development specialists, human rights advocates, environmental activists, and academicians – all working together to uplift the most vulnerable and marginalized communities. Through a holistic approach, AMEF addresses critical societal challenges, ensuring that individuals, regardless of their background, have access to opportunities that promote dignity, equality, and self-reliance.
Our mission is to bridge the gaps in economic empowerment, education, healthcare, human rights, and environmental sustainability by implementing high-impact, evidence-based programs. We advocate for good governance, social justice, and civic participation, with special initiatives like “Her Voice, Her Vote,” which aims to increase women’s political representation and leadership. AMEF believes in the power of strategic partnerships, collaborating with local and international NGOs, government institutions, corporate entities, and faith-based organizations to drive sustainable change.

- Poverty Alleviation & Economic Empowerment – Providing resources, training, and opportunities for orphans, widows, and underprivileged youth to achieve financial independence.
- Health & Well-being – Conducting medical outreaches, mental health awareness programs, and support services for victims of domestic violence, substance abuse, and social neglect.
- Women & Youth Leadership – Through our flagship initiative, “Her Voice, Her Vote,” we champion women’s political participation and leadership, advocating for the implementation of the 35% affirmative action in governance.
