Apart from the fact that bees die all the time, from over work, a bee colony may lose from a thousand members a day. There is the incessant habit of bush burning in Nigeria that has put the existence of bees in jeopardy.
AMEF, has partnered with African Development Concept in Finland. This program is aimed at training the bee farmers in the country to improve on their honey production. A major part of our training, is in the prevention and protection of bees from bush burning and other anthropological activities.
